Get ready for authentic insider perspective on food and life in Reykjavik! We start by taking you on an in-depth tour of a typical Icelandic supermarket. We find out about the finest Icelandic ingredients and the historical and cultural influences behind them.

We handpick our favorites and then head off to a microbrewery up the street, a hidden gen reserved exclusively for our tour. We then sit down to Icelandic music playing in the background, taste some of the best Icelandic microbrews available and eat lunch made from our grocery store selections. As we feast, you will hear captivating stories about Iceland‘s past and present, giving you context, color and a deeper understanding about this incredible place.

This isn´t your typical walking food tour. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that connects you to Iceland in ways you never imagined. Join us to uncover the uniqueness Icelandic cuisine and culture, one delicious bite at a time.


Tours start at 11.00 am and last for about 3 hours

Distance to walk is ca. 250 meters or a 4 minute walk

We meet in front of Bonus (a grocery store), Laugavegur 59, 101 Reykjavik, in the heart of downtown Reykjavik.
